Premier Select Teams

Our Premier Select Teams compete in top-tier leagues such as EDP, EDP Futures, and SAM, training in an elite environment that focuses on developing complete soccer players in all aspects of the game. Through our philosophy and international methodology, designed by coaches who have worked with renowned clubs such as Santos (home of Neymar and Pelé), Atlético Mineiro in Brazil, and Benfica in Portugal, we aim to cultivate top-tier talent ready to excel both on and off the field.

Games Recorded:

We utilize Veo, an innovative camera that automatically records matches without the need for parents or players to operate it. This allows us to focus on the game while capturing high-quality footage for analysis. The recorded games provide valuable insights into player development and team performance. This footage serves as a powerful learning tool, helping players identify areas for improvement, refine skills, and better understand game tactics.

Team Communication App:

We streamline team communication and scheduling through TeamSnap, an all-in-one platform designed to keep everyone connected. TeamSnap allows us to share real-time game updates, practice schedules, and important announcements. It plays a vital role in closing communication gaps, ensuring that parents, players, and coaches are always on the same page throughout the season.

Tournament Participation

Our Premier Select teams participate in high-level tournaments throughout the entire soccer year, which complement the regular season schedule. These tournaments not only provide additional game opportunities but also serve as valuable tools for both player and team development.

Increased Game Exposure: More games throughout the year help players gain match experience, sharpen skills, and improve performance under competitive conditions.

FROM BRAZIL AND PORTUGAL

Coaching Methodology

DCYFC staff has collaborated with professional coaches from renowned clubs such as Santos and Atletico MG in Brazil, and Benfica in Portugal to develop our most recent coaching methodology. We have integrated our training methodology into the characteristics of Washington DC youth soccer by infusing it with an international flavor inspired by the experiences of these coaches.

A key advantage is its structured progression. As players grow older and their physical, mental, and tactical understanding develop, the training sessions are designed to align with their development stage.

We've carefully crafted a series of activities and training sessions that are tailored to each stage of development, ensuring that our players receive the best possible guidance and support as they advance in their soccer journey.

International Trips

We host youth soccer trip to Brazil, offering players the chance to practice, compete against Brazilian teams, train with professional coaches, and experience the vibrant soccer culture.
