Empowering Youth Through Soccer

District Elite Football Club is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization committed to offering premier soccer programs in Washington, DC.

We leverage our connections with Brazilian and international soccer clubs and coaches to provide a global perspective of the game within a healthy and supportive environment. Our approach emphasizes player expression, creativity, and technical ball skills, including dribbling, first touch, receiving, ball control, and game understanding.

The club offers two core programs: the Premier Select Team Program, designed for competitive players, and the Development Program, aimed at enhancing fundamental soccer skills.

Coaching Methodology

District Elite Football Club staff has collaborated with professional coaches from renowned clubs such as Santos and Atletico MG in Brazil, and Benfica in Portugal to develop our most recent coaching methodology. We have integrated our training methodology into the characteristics of Washington DC youth soccer by infusing it with an international flavor inspired by the experiences of these coaches.

A key advantage is its structured progression. As players grow older and their physical, mental, and tactical understanding develop, the training sessions are designed to align with their development stage.

We've carefully crafted a series of activities and training sessions that are tailored to each stage of development, ensuring that our players receive the best possible guidance and support as they advance in their soccer journey.

Year Round Program

• Summer Camps start Mid-June

• Brazil Camp with professional Coaches from Brazil

• Regular Camp with District Elite FC Coaching staff

• Preseason starts the third week of August

• League games start the first week of September

• Season ends Mid-November

• Duration: 10-12 weeks

• Practices start the first week of December

• Season ends early March

• Duration: 10-12 weeks

• League games start in April

• Season ends first/second week of June

Coaches:

Our coaching staff brings an international perspective to the game, hailing from Brazil, Ecuador, and other parts of Latin America. Alongside their soccer licensing credentials, they inspire motivation, develop character, and enhance soccer skills - all while prioritizing the enjoyment that is crucial in youth soccer.

Learning Environment:

District Elite FC is renowned for fostering inclusivity across all teams and age groups. This nurturing environment is fundamental to the development of healthy relationships among players, parents, and coaches, and essential for uniting a diverse roster under a common identity and purpose.
